Our Story
Our start blossomed from a demand for financial assistance opportunities for youth athletes in economic need so that they might participate in competitive athletics. Competitive club sports can be financially exhausting for an athlete's family due to the cost of fees, club dues, travel expenses, equipment, and gear. Unfortunately, this financial burden prevents many athletes from pursuing athletic opportunities, especially those who lack the necessary resources. As a former club volleyball athlete whose family struggled to keep up with the financial demands of competitive sports, our founder, Alyssa Lingenfelter felt compelled to seek out a solution still plaguing a great deal of athletes and their families. She teamed up with Wes Snyder to start Jump Serve Sports Inc. with the intention of inspiring others to "jump to serve" those in the sporting community!
Mission
Dedicated to providing opportunities for youth athletes to participate in competitive club sports programs within their communities despite their family financial circumstances. Our goal is to enrich the lives of youth by providing access to sports programs that foster personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills. We aim to increase the conversation around athletics as a stepping stone to higher education and building brighter futures. We strive to mold athletes into future leaders and community ambassadors who are champions of excellence in athletics, academics, and servant leadership. We continually seek to partner with club organizations who instill the core values of dedication, perseverance, integrity, and community involvement in our athletes.
Vision
We aspire to help countless dedicated athletes pursue their dreams and goals at the next level athletically and academically regardless of family financial situations by providing the ultimate counterbalance; opportunity. We envision creating life-changing opportunities for student-athletes to become servant leaders who eventually contribute to the betterment of society and increased community engagement. Additionally, we want to increase and promote the dialogue around athletics as a stepping stone to higher education and therein an opportunity to a brighter future.
