ABOUT US

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities and resources for amateur youth athletes to participate in competitive club sports programs within their communities despite their family financial circumstances. Born from a need to serve underprivileged athletes, we are committed to enriching the lives of young people through sport by breaking down financial barriers and providing equal opportunities while encouraging community leadership involvement. Our roots may be in volleyball, but we provide opportunities to athletes of all sports!

Jump Serve Sports Inc. operates strictly as a needs based program. Our board of directors makes decisions for scholarship opportunities based on the previous year's tax returns of each family who applies. We hold our athletes to a higher standard, which is why families and athletes selected for scholarships from Jump Serve Sports Inc. are required to maintain above a certain GPA, obtain a set number of volunteer hours within their community, and act as ambassadors for their sport, their club, and their community while presenting themselves in a manner promoting goodwill, sportsmanship, and integrity.

Join us in taking the first steps to insighting change within our direct communites as well as the athletic community at large!

THE STORY

Our start blossomed from a demand for financial assistance opportunities for youth athletes in economic need so that they might participate in competitive athletics.

Competitive club sports can be financially exhausting for an athlete's family due to the cost of fees, club dues, travel expenses, equipment, and gear. Unfortunately, this financial burden prevents many athletes from pursuing athletic opportunities, especially those who lack the necessary resources.

As a former club volleyball athlete whose family struggled to keep up with the financial demands of competitive sports, our founder, Alyssa Lingenfelter felt compelled to seek out a solution still plaguing a great deal of athletes and their families. She teamed up with Wes Snyder to start Jump Serve Sports Inc. with the intention of inspiring others to "jump to serve" those in the sporting community!
